On October 1, 2007 Wolter Material Handling announces its' new name (formally Wisconsin Lift Truck Corp) in the Western Region of Wisconsin, consisting of Eau Claire, La Crosse & Superior.
John O. Wolter, President - indicates that "Businesses in western Wisconsin will benefit from our combination of local responsiveness and the experience we have gained as part of an industry leading material handling distributor. No other material handling distributor can match our local service and resources."
Wolter Material Handling operates full service branches in Eau Claire and La Crosse, and a service center in Superior. Lift Truck lines include Komatsu, Taylor and Linde. Other lines include Power Boss sweepers and scrubbers, Genie and JLG booms and scissor lifts, Steel King racking, E-Z-Go personnel carriers and Trackmobile* railcar movers (*available in Iron, Price, Jackson, LaCrosse, Monroe and Vernon counties only). The company offers equipment for sale, lease or rent. It also offers parts and service with road and shop technicians. It operates a fleet of new vehicles including service vans, parts delivery trucks, and a mobile tire press truck.
